Hi, I am Kai, wandering through notes, tools, and unfinished ideas.
This space is a living map of a mind in motion. I tend this garden not as a perfect curator, but as an explorer wandering through interconnected ideas. Some paths lead to clearings; others meander through dense thickets. All are worth following.
What is this place?
This is not a blog of finished articles, but a garden of evolving ideas. Unlike traditional publications where posts are written, published, and forgotten, ideas here grow, connect, and transform over time.
I believe that expression beats collection—that ideas you express are far more important than knowledge you hoard. In an era when AI can generate polished prose in seconds, what truly matters is not production, but meaning.
My philosophy
I live by three principles:
First, ideas are seeds. They start small, uncertain, half-formed. Through connection and revision, they grow into something more. Some become mighty trees; others wither. The important thing is to plant them.
Second, understanding is iterative. I don’t believe in getting things right the first time. I write quickly, capture thoughts in the moment, and return to them again and again. Each revision deepens understanding.
Third, connection creates insight. When I link one idea to another, I’m not just creating navigation—I’m forging a new relationship between concepts. The more connections, the more robust the understanding.
Why a digital garden?
In the AI age, the bottleneck has shifted from creation to insight. Anyone can generate content with AI. Fewer people can generate genuine understanding through genuine thinking.
A digital garden prioritizes thinking over finished content. It’s a space for working through ideas, not just presenting them. You can see an idea’s history, watch it evolve, and understand the journey that led to it.
This authenticity—the visible process of thought—is something AI cannot fake. And it’s becoming increasingly rare.

A note on tools
I use Obsidian as my garden. It’s imperfect but powerful—a tool that thinks like I do: in connections, not hierarchies.
If you’re curious about how I tend this space, check out why I chose Obsidian.
Curiosity knows no bounds, seeking new horizons.
This is not a finished product. It’s a process. I’m learning as I go—sometimes stumbling, often uncertain, but always moving forward.
If this garden resonates with you, I’m glad. If it inspires you to plant your own seeds, even better.
The world doesn’t need more perfect content. It needs more genuine thought.
